Christian Reiki Healing Ministry

 

He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. – Luke 9:12

 

 

This Christ-centered healing ministry is dedicated to enhancing mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Trained in Christian Reiki as well as other healing touch techniques, we use prayer and the laying-on of hands to channel God’s unconditional healing love.

 

In a typical healing session, you will either sit in a chair or lie comfortably on a padded table with shoes and jewelry removed. Soft music is played. The healing ministers work in teams of two. As we begin, we ask for God’s guidance and healing presence. During the remainder of the time, we gently lay  our hands on or above various energy centers of your body. Most people experience a sense of relaxation and inner peace. Some are so relaxed they drift into sleep.

 

Everyone is welcome, whether you are a church member or not, whether you are seriously ill or you  just need a safe place to relax and recharge. The sessions, which last about 45 minutes, are free to all.

 

This healing ministry has been ongoing for nearly 10 years at Rolling Bay Church. In that time, hundreds of people have been helped, and nearly 100 members and friends have been trained as Christian Reiki Healing Ministers.
