A Congregational Life Testimony

I joined the Congregational Life Committee because I wanted to be involved with the life of the church. In doing so I gained wonderful friendships and felt that I had become connected to this church family. I remain in the committee because I love it...and aside from that it’s fun!

A Little Bit About Our Committee

The Congregational Life Committee organizes events for the church community to gather together for social and spiritual activities throughout the year.

 

We prepare lunch once a month after church, provide coffee and cookies after church for a social hour, and we organize family-style picnics and BBQ’s so all ages can get together and have fun. Throughout the year we offer monthly activities that encourage fellowship and friendship.

September 18th – Third Annual Tea for all the family. Children are invited (a special surprise in store for them!) and there will be an entertaining program, yummy delights, and great tea. Watch for sign-up (we’ll need help with food prep, servers, and clean up).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

October 2nd – Church Benefit Rummage Sale: We will start collecting items for the sale in early September.We need volunteers, including youth members for processing, pricing items, and on the day of the sale, cashiers, parking attendants, and sign makers. Please call Joanna McCormick 780-0613 if you want to join the fun and help raise money for RBPC.
