Mission Statement of the Missions Committee:

The Lord calls us to do justice and to walk humbly with our God. Therefore, as Christian disciples we will communicate, educate, and involve our congregation to use our gifts in partnership with others for mission and service to our church, community, nation, and world.

 

Committee Meetings: Regularly scheduled for the last Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm

Super Suppers: On the last Thursday of each month a group from RBPC facilitates a meal for those in need at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. If you love to cook and enjoy camaraderie, we would love to have you join us. For more information, please call Kathy Kraft at 206-855-4990.

CROP WALK IS COMING SOON!

 

Hunger and poverty are rampant in our world, and escalating in the current economic conditions.  Something can and must be done. Our local CROP Hunger Walk is a great place to start. September 26th, CROP Hunger Walk will be held to show our love and active concern for neighbors in need near and far. Participants will be raising awareness and funds to change the world in real and measurable ways. Whether it's responding to flood and tornado damage in parts of the U.S., or helping to rebuild earthquake-damaged homes in Haiti, CROP Hunger Walks are making a difference.!! BRICK BY BRICK WE BUILT THE FOUNDATION! Thank you, thank you! With our great sense of community we have raised $8,000.00 for the building materials for the Chan Luis' home in Merida. We will take your blessings written on the paper bricks and put them into the walls as we build. Together we have made this happen. Praise the Lord! The team leaves for Merida on November 6. We will have a Commissioning Service on October 31, during worship. Please join us to send the team off with our blessings.

                          Adopt a Village

ADOPT A VILLAGE SUCCESS! We have adopted 14 villages in Tanzania! Thank you for your support of the work of Tony and Holly Freitas. With these gifts, the Good News of Jesus Christ will be spread among the Masaai. Education about the spread and prevention of AIDS will happen. And more of the bucket filtration water systems will be put into homes. Bless you for your generous blessings.
