Saturday, Feb. 25, 4-7:30 pm, Wingpoint Country Club


The theme this year is YOUR JOY. How can you express your joy in the outfit you wear to this event? Is it a treasured piece of jewelry handed down through the generations? Is it being in your mother-of-the-bride dress? Is it being in your cozy sweats? Is it wearing a pasta necklace your child made you in preschool? Is it the joy of still fitting in your prom dress? What creates joy in your life and how can you share this with others?                                                  


As in last year, there will be a silent auction, again reflecting this theme of joy. The donation of a craft or artistic creation is appreciated, as are gift baskets filled with items that bring you joy. (Hint: anyone find joy in fine chocolates?) We are not looking for “big-ticket” items, but affordable goods that help defray the cost of this event. Please contact Karen LeRoy, 842-7211 (leroyfmly@comcast.net), and let her know if you will bring something for the auction. Non-perishable items should be left at the church office by Feb. 19.


Cost: Pay what you are able, suggested minimum $5, anything over $35 helps sponsor this event. Reservations required by Sunday, Feb. 19.


There will be eleven women from our congregation we will be honoring for their contributions to our church. We will also have an opportunity for some round table discussions and to enjoy a bit of entertainment. Event includes a dinner buffet at Wingpoint Golf and Country Club. Join us in celebrating our joy of being sisters in Christ!
