There are four small groups available for women to join with time to both socialize and discuss material from the study guide, “Heart Knowledge: Spiritual Discipline and the Experience of God.” Although the groups are loosely age-based, it is hoped that won’t stop women from joining a group because it better fits their schedule or because they are friends with other women in that group! 

The study guide presents a basic over view of the nature and goal of spiritual practices and offers an introduction to the fundamental elements of a healthy and balanced spiritual life. Discussions focus on how individuals and communities can identify practices that truly facilitate experiential contact with God.Contact one of the group leaders below for information as to exact meeting time and location.


* Dianne Thompson, 842-7521. Dianne facilitates each session, with rotating hostesses. They meet in members’ homes during the day. Many of these women have grandchildren who are young adults. This is the church’s longest running Circle group.


* Marilyn Bonkowski, 855-0764. Wendy Childers and Marilyn co-lead and host this group. They meet in the evening at Marilyn's home. This group is mostly made up of the younger women in the congregation.


* Jan Paeth, 842-3212. This group meets in the evenings and is mainly made up of women who work outside of the home and are unable to meet during the day time.


* Patty Smith, 780-5147. This group rotates facilitating and hosting in their homes. They meet during the afternoon, with most of the women either newly retired or working part time outside of the home.
